Looking at the meaning behind the idea that we have to photographical explore for this assignment; that being contemporary ritual.
Contemporary Ritual-
contemporary- pre-sent day, modern. living or occuring at the same time.
rituals- predcribed order of rites. regular repeated action or behaviour.
Have kinda been making a list of daily rituals that we as humans do on a daily routine almost unconciously....
- waking up (literally being woken up or waking up)
- getting out of bed (feet on ground sort of thing...)
- stretching when first awoken?
- washing your face (cuold create some lovely images)
- feeding a pet?
- putting on shoes (once again could lead to some really neat photos)
- setting alarms
- locking up, houses, windows etc
- boiling the kettle/ making cups of coffee, tea ....
- drinking (documenting throughout the day(any type of drink))
- opening mail
- washing hands
- brushing hair
- getting dressed/undressed (clothes lying in a pile on floor would suggest undressed/ suggestive images)
- turning lights on and off
